Ashley began playing competitive chess at four years old and quickly recognized it as more than a game. It taught her to stay calm under pressure, anticipate outcomes, and trust her judgment in rooms where she was often the only girl - revealing early that strategy shapes confidence, presence, and power.
At fourteen, she founded her first nonprofit to expand access to chess. By twenty-one, she was teaching athletes to use it as a framework for leadership and performance, reinforcing a core belief: strategy isn’t instinct - it’s learned.
Today, Ashley applies chess as a decision-making framework across industries, helping individuals and teams think clearly, lead intentionally, and play the long game.
